Trump's new super PAC holds millions in airtime for ads in election states as midterms approach
The 45th president's super PAC is running ads in key election states to endorse Trump-backed candidates.
In September, some of former President Trump's allies formed a super PAC called MAGA Inc. in order to buy ads and endorse Republican candidates as midterm elections approach.
This week, MAGA Inc. will start to air ads in key election states such as Nevada, Georgia and Arizona, and they are already running ads in Pennsylvania and Ohio, the Associated Press is reporting.
According to the Georgia ad that is set to air soon and was shared with AP, it goes after Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock, calling him too radical for Georgia.
"From D-Day to drag queen story time, America has lost its way," the narrator says. "Chaos at the border. Crime in our neighborhoods. A collapsing economy. Biden and Warnock did that."
In another ad for Pennsylvania that the AP got access to, the target is Democrat Senate nominee John Fetterman who is labeled as "dangerous."
"John Fetterman wants ruthless killers, muggers and rapists back on our streets," the ad reportedly states.
The ads do not mention Trump, per the AP, but focus on the candidates that are running.
According to AdImpact Politics, the PAC has spent close to $5 million on ads, some of which have already run, others that will start to air soon. The PAC has spent $1.34 million in Ohio and $829,000 in Pennsylvania. According to another tracking firm, Medium Buying, the PAC has spent $954,000 in Georgia, $512,000 in Nevada and $1.16 million in Arizona, per the AP.
