Gabbard, Gaetz, reportedly helping Trump with debate prep
"Clearly the results speak for themselves and he will do the same in this debate with Kamala Harris,” Gabbard said of Trump's debate against Biden, but went on to caution that Harris "should not be underestimated."
Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, and Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., are reportedly helping former President Donald Trump with debate preparation ahead of his head-to-head match with Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday.
“He is looking forward to focusing on Kamala Harris’ record,” Gabbard, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate who faced Harris in the primay, said on Monday on Fox News. “Why hasn’t she fixed the things, that she is now saying are broken, over the last three and a half years? She is the incumbent candidate in this race.”
Gabbard said Trump did a "fantastic job" in his debate against President Biden and that he will do the same against Harris.
"Clearly the results speak for themselves and he will do the same in this debate with Kamala Harris,” Ms. Gabbard said, before warning that Harris "should not be underestimated."
Citing sources, ABC News reported on Sunday that Gaetz has been "firing questions at Trump around some of the more challenging issues, such as his legal troubles, including his federal indictments on election interference and retaining classified documents, criminal conviction in the New York hush-money case and stance on abortion."
