The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday refused for the second time to intervene in a fight over redistricting maps in Missouri. 

On Tuesday, a federal judge in Missouri temporarily blocked the state from using its 2022 congressional districts in the midterms. That ruling came just moments after the U.S. Supreme Court let stand a decision from the Missouri Supreme Court ordering Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins to use the 2022 map. 

An anti-gerrymandering group, People Not Politicians, on Wednesday asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a lower court's order from Tuesday night, mandating Missouri use a GOP redistricting map. 

The Supreme Court's decision Thursday appears to be the end of the push to use the 2025 redistricting map, the Associated Press reported.
