Early Election Day voter turnout in Nevada appears strong, with local news organizations and one candidate reporting long lines at some polling stations across the state.

A reporter from ABC13 Action News tweeted a short video of a line outside of station in Las Vegas that included the message: "It’s 7am! Voting Polls are now open in Nevada. Here at Desert Breeze Community Center a long line of voters is now beginning to slowly move inside. @KTNV will have #ElectionDay coverage all day."

GOP House nominee Sam Peters put out a statement about the long lines at a Home Depot in Las Vegas.

"HUGE line over here at the Centennial Center Home Depot polling location," he tweeted. "The time is now, Nevada. Make your voice heard. Get out and vote!"

The group Nevada First Agenda Association warned voters about waits and perhaps inclement weather while waiting outside.

"Get ready to vote Tuesday!!!! the lines will be long and get ready for a little rain or snow," the group tweeted.
