Where to watch: Michigan and New York gubernatorial debates

This year's midterms are very contentious, with the possibility for political upheaval in both swing states and "safe" states. In Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer and Tudor Dixon will have their final debate. The New York governor's race has also received attention for being much closer than expected.

Two major governor's races will have their final debates this evening.

In Michigan, Republican challenger Tudor Dixon and current Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will meet for their second and final debate, starting at 7 p.m. ET.  A livestream can be found at WXYZ.com and the WXYZ Facebook page.  The whole debate will also be available on YouTube after it has aired.

In New York, another incumbent Democratic governor, Kathy Hochul, will have her only debate with her Republican challenger, Lee Zeldin, also at 7 p.m. ET.  Those interested in watching can do so on the Spectrum News website through the "Open Access" link, which will appear shortly before the beginning of the debate.  It can also be viewed on the Spectrum News app, in the "Live" menu.
