Camp Mystic, the Christian girls' summer camp hit hard by the catastrophic flooding over the Fourth of July holiday weekend in central Texas, reported Monday morning it is "grieving the loss" of 27 campers and counselors.

At least 81 people have died as a result of the flooding, including those at the camp, near the Guadalupe River, in the state's Kerr County.

Searchers continue to look for the missing. 

The camp's statement also reads: “We have been in communication with local and state authorities who are tirelessly deploying extensive resources to search for our missing girls,” the camp said in a statement posted on its website. “We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from community, first responders, and officials at every level.”
