Former New York Republican Rep. George Santos has begun selling personalized videos on Cameo.

The ex-New York lawmaker was ousted from Congress last Friday, a historic first for the chamber as he had neither been convicted of a crime nor supported the Confederate States of America, which had previously been the only reasons for ousting a congressman. Santos has pleaded not guilty to 23 federal charges but has not been convicted thus far. The chamber vote was 311-114.

Now bereft of a permanent job, Santos has turned to Cameo to make money and is charging $200 for a personalized video. His profile currently boasts a five-star rating and describes the ex-lawmaker as a "former congressional 'Icon'" and "[t]he Expelled member of Congress from New York City."

Cameo is a platform through customers may pay participating public figures to record personalized videos and messages to be sent to friends. Often these may be customized birthday messages or words of encouragement.

One of Santos's most recent videos wished a recipient a speedy recovery and offered him workout advice on best to avoid injuring oneself while exercising. Another saw him congratulate a recipient on his successful football predictions and wish him a Merry Christmas.
