Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, 81, is recovering from serious injuries he suffered in a car crash in New Hampshire on Saturday night. 

Michael Ragusa, a spokesperson for Giuliani, said the former GOP presidential candidate was helping a domestic violence victim when the crash occurred. 

He has a fractured vertebrae from the crash but the former mayor is in "good spirits and recovering tremendously," his spokesperson said.
