'He's afraid of losing the election': Trump rips Biden over Middle East peace plan
"I will fix his mess, and bring Peace to ALL Parties once again, and we’ll get it done FAST!" Trump insisted.
Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday excoriated the Biden administration amid its efforts to pursue a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, contending that the ongoing conflict was largely due to Biden himself.
Biden, this week, outlined a proposal to end the war, which has raged since Oct. 7, saying that it "begins with a complete ceasefire, withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas in Gaza, the release of hostages and hostage remains, the ability for Palestinians to return to Gaza, and a surge of humanitarian assistance."
"Weak Joe Biden is only now scrambling to fix the DISASTER he created in the Middle East because he’s afraid of losing the Election. He is an incompetent person who chose to fund Iranian Terror with our Tax Dollars," Trump posted on Truth Social. "We HAD Peace in the Middle East, and we can have it again, but it won’t be with Joe Biden in office."
"NO NEW WARS WHEN I WAS PRESIDENT - A FIRST IN MODERN HISTORY! NO MORE WARS. NO MORE TERROR. NO MORE CIVILIANS DYING. NONE OF THIS SHOULD EVER HAVE HAPPENED," he continued. "It’s all because of Weak Biden’s INCOMPETENCE. I will fix his mess, and bring Peace to ALL Parties once again, and we’ll get it done FAST!"
Biden's proposal appears to have received mixed reviews from within the Israeli government, with some officials suggesting that the president had not described the proposal accurately and insisting that Israel's own terms for ending the conflict had not changed.
