Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested a Harvard Law School professor this week, resulting in his agreeing to leave the country.

Carlos Portugal Gouvea of Brazil previously admitted to discharging a pellet gun near a Synagogue in November, telling authorities that he was "hunting rats," according to the New York Post.

Gouvea agreed to leave the U.S. following his detention. The Department of Homeland Security revoked his visa weeks after the incident with the pellet gun.
