Former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has topped the iTunes charts with a single questioning the total number of votes that President Joe Biden received in the 2020 election.

Teaming up with musical group The Truth Bombers, Lake's single "81 Million Votes, My A**" reached the top slot for US Songs on June 12 and held the position through the 13th.

The country rock single features spoken dialogue from Lake expressing incredulity at the state of the nation. The explicit title line functions as a chorus. The band goes on to lament the rising cost of consumer items due to inflation and expounds on Biden's record.

"They p*ssed off an already p*ssed off woman," Lake says in the song.

Lake celebrated the song's success in a tweet showing the single at the top of the charts.

"Our song '81 Million Votes My Ass' is number one on the music charts. Because Americans KNOW our Elections are rigged and corrupt," she posted.

The release marks the latest in a string of right-wing political songs to top the charts. Earlier this year, three songs promoted on the Trump-controlled Truth Social app managed to claim the number one spot on the charts as well.

Trump Won" by Natasha Owens, "Justice for All" by Donald Trump & J6 Prison Choir, and "End of the World" by John Rich & Tom MacDonald all managed to reach the superlative position March.
