'Listen to him': Biden responds to Trump's taunts on age, memory with awkward answer
Biden erroneously referred to Harris as "Vice President Trump" when fielding a question early in the press conference, prompting criticism from the former president.
President Joe Biden on Thursday appeared to urge reporters to listen to former President Donald Trump's criticisms of his age and memory.
Biden fielded questions from reporters in a critical press conference amid speculation over his fitness for office and mental acuity. Immediately prior to the conference, he made a major flub by referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as Russian President Vladimir Putin. He made further vocal stumbles during the press conference.
"You misspoke in your opening answer. You referred to Vice President Harris as 'Vice President Trump.' Right now, Donald Trump is using that to mock your age and your memory. How do you combat that criticism from tonight?" one reporter asked at the end of the press conference.
"Listen to him," was Biden's clear response.

"Crooked Joe begins his 'Big Boy' Press Conference with, 'I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president, though I think she was not qualified to be president.' Great job, Joe!" Trump posted.
