Marianne Williamson 'unsuspends' presidential campaign
Williamson suspended her campaign earlier this month, at which time she averaged 6.5% support in the party primary race.
Hollywood guru Marianne Williamson on Wednesday announced that she would resume her bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
"Hey, I have an important announcement to make. As of today, I am unsuspending my campaign for the presidency of the United States," she declared in a video posted to X. "I had suspended it because I was losing the horse race. But something so much more important than the horse race is at stake here."
"Right now we have a fascist standing at the door," she went on, before insisting that President Joe Biden was offering a poor message for Americans.

Williamson suspended her campaign earlier this month, at which time she averaged 6.5% support in the party primary race. Biden, at the time, held 65.8% support while Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., trailed with 3.8%.
Despite having left the race, Williamson earned 3.0% support in the Michigan Democratic primary on Tuesday evening, placing ahead of Phillips, who earned 2.7%, according to the Associated Press.
