Speaking at Vox Media's Code Conference, billionaire Mark Cuban blasted Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren's proposals to tax the rich.

"I don't mind being taxed more. I wrote a blog 20 years ago saying it's the most patriotic thing you can do, after military service, is pay your taxes, because that's what allows everybody to live and to prospect," Cuban said, according to the New York Post. "But yeah, the idea of 'soak the rich,' billionaire tears that fill that cup — screw you, Elizabeth Warren. You're everything that's wrong with politics."

Cuban has waded into political waters before and has refused to rule out the possibility of seeking elected office at some point in the future.

Warren is a vocal advocate for raising taxes on wealthy households. During her 2020 presidential campaign, she called for a tax specifically for households with a net worth of $50 million or more, the Post noted.

She has previously clashed with other well known billionaires over her proposals. In December of last year, she and Elon Musk had a Twitter spat over the Tesla founder being named Time's Person of the Year.

"Let's change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else," she wrote in response.

"And if you opened your eyes for 2 seconds, you would realize I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year… Don't spend it all at once … oh wait you did already" was Musk's retort.
