First lady Melania Trump on Friday donated her 2025 inaugural gown to the Smithsonian in an event marking its appearance in the museum's exhibit of first ladies.

“This is not a dress. This is more than 50 years of education, experience and wisdom realized with each thread,” she said, according to The Hill. “This dress speaks with a distinct point of view... bold and dignified and ruthlessly chic.”
The first lady appeared at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History at an event to mark the exhibit's debut.
