Melania Trump goes all in on husband's 2024 bid, despite rumors of reservations

Former first lady Melania Trump is fully behind her husband's third bid for the presidency despite speculation that she would distance herself from the campaign during the 2024 cycle.
"My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again," she told Fox News in a recent interview.
She further indicated that, should he have the "privilege" of returning to her old post, that she would renew her efforts for children's causes to ensure they receive "support and resources they need to reach their full potential."
Trump added that she was excited to work with her husband on "restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength."
Melania notably did not appear alongside her husband during his arraignment in New York as part of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's prosecution pertaining to a payment his then-personal attorney, Michael Cohen, made to Stormy Daniels in 2016.
Media outlets seized on her absence, supposing it signified her discomfort with participating in political events. Sources told PEOPLE magazine at the time that "Melania is not now or hasn't recently taken part in her husband's political events" and that doing so is "not comfortable for her."
Her office at the time cautioned the public against trusting news that cited sources other than the former first lady herself.
"News organizations have made assumptions about the former First Lady's stance on subjects that are personal, professional, and political over the past few weeks. In these articles, unnamed sources are cited to bolster the author's claims," her office said. "We ask readers to exercise caution and good judgment when determining whether or not stories concerning the former First Lady are accurate, particularly when they fail to cite Mrs. Trump as a source of information."
