NASA reschedules launch of Artemis rocket after bad weather scuttles initial test
NASA previously scrubbed its earlier launch due to 'engine bleed'
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will make a second attempt to launch its Artemis rocket as part of its mission to eventually return Americans to the moon.
The unmanned vehicle will again attempt the voyage on Saturday, Sept. 3, according to NBC News.
NASA previously scrubbed its earlier launch due to "engine bleed" a problem connected with the temperature of the engines.
Should the next launch succeed, NASA will then launch a manned crew to replicate the voyage, before ultimately attempting a moon landing in 2025 or 2026.
