House Oversight Democrats on Thursday asserted that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had no information on Jeffrey Epstein after a closed-door deposition with the panel on Thursday.

"Secretary Clinton never met Jeffrey Epstein. She never visited the island. She never flew on his plane," Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., said. "She also had no knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein's horrific crimes. So zero knowledge of any wrongdoing - you've also all heard that directly from her."

Clinton appeared for closed-door testimony before the panel in New York, after previously defying a subpoena to testify as part of Chairman James Comer's probe of Epstein's associates.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, did not testify on Thursday. His longstanding relationship with Epstein was well known and he previously flew on Epstein's plane.
