Majority of voters concerned about Trump's safety at inauguration, new poll shows

Trump announced on Friday that the inauguration would be moved indoors due to low temperatures in the weather forecast.

Most voters are concerned are the safety of President-elect Donald Trump at the inauguration and 31% are "very concerned," according to a Rasmussen Reports poll.

The poll results show 55% of voters are worried about his safety. 

The breakdown of those figures is 37% of Democrats concerned about his safety and 80% of Republicans.

Trump announced on Friday that the inauguration would be moved indoors due to low temperatures in the weather forecast. 

The poll of 1,330 likely voters was conducted from January 13-15, 2025, prior to Trump's decision to move the inauguration swearing-in ceremony indoors.
