Most Americans approve of the Supreme Court's decision last week to strike down affirmative action, according to a new poll.

While 32% disapprove of the high court's decision, 52% approve, according to a poll released Sunday by ABC News/Ipsos.

When broken down by race, 60% of White Americans approve of the court's ruling, as do 58% of Asian Americans. Latino Americans were split on the decision, with 40% approving and 40% disapproving, while most black Americans, 52%, disapprove.

The poll also showed that a plurality of Americans approve of the court's decision to strike down the Biden administration's student loan forgiveness plan, with 45% approving and 40% disapproving.

Meanwhile, the public is more split on the court's ruling that a website designer can deny services to same-sex customers who are seeking a wedding website, with 43% approving of the court's decision and 42% disapproving.

This poll was conducted from June 30-July 1 with 937 U.S. adults and included "small oversamples among Black, Hispanic, and Asian respondents," per Ipsos, and it had a 3.6% margin of error.
