Most GOP voters consider themselves 'Trump Republicans,' new poll shows
Among Democrats, 45% of those surveyed said they consider themselves a progressive Democrat and 44% said they consider themselves a traditional Democrat.
A new Napolitan News Service poll released on Friday found that most GOP voters consider themselves "Trump Republicans" rather than "Reagan Republicans."
The survey, conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on December 27-28, 2024, included 1,000 registered voters. RMG Research conducted the field work.
Among registered Republicans surveyed, "27% consider themselves a Reagan Republican, while 61% consider themselves a Trump Republican," according to the top line results of the poll.
Among Democrats, 45% of those surveyed said they consider themselves a progressive Democrat and 44% said they consider themselves a traditional Democrat.
