New poll finds 65% of Democrats want Biden to withdraw from presidential race

A majority of Democrats want President Biden to withdraw from the presidential race, according to the results of a new AP-NORC poll released on Wednesday.

The poll found 65% of Democratic voters would like to see Biden "withdraw and allow his party to select a different candidate."

The results of the survey are "based on interviews with 1,253 U.S. adults conducted July 11-15."
