Voters in battleground states trust Trump over Biden on the economy: Fox News poll

A Fox News poll conducted earlier this month shows that former President Donald Trump is doing better than President Joe Biden on the issue of the economy in key swing states.

According to the poll, 59% of voters in Georgia have greater trust in Trump's handling of the economy vs. 37% who prefer Biden. In Michigan 54% of voters said they trust Trump more to handle the economy, while just 43% said they trust Biden more.

Trump shared the poll on his TRUTH Social platform on Saturday and captioned it, “TRUST TO DO A BETTER JOB ON THE ECONOMY—BATTLEGROUND STATES."

The poll also shows that 54% of Pennsylvania voters said Trump would do a better job with the economy vs. 42% who said they preferred Biden.

Meanwhile, 53% of Wisconsin voters said they trust Trump to do a better job on the economy while 44% said they preferred Biden.

The surveys were conducted April 11-16 among roughly a thousand voters from each state. Respondents answered questions via telephone or online. There was a margin of sampling error of +/- 3%.
