Pro-Trump PACs target Indiana GOP amid redistricting push

Several PACs affiliated with President Donald Trump are targeting Indiana Republicans amid the president's push for the legislature to redraw its congressional maps in time for the midterms.
Multiple Republican-leaning states have moved to redraw their congressional maps at the urgings of Trump, who hopes to create a buffer for Republicans to hold the House in the 2026 midterms. Indiana lawmakers, however, have been hesitant to do so, leading Trump and his allies to ramp up the pressure.
Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet told Politico that his organization and other PACs planned an "eight-figure" effort to fund primary challengers to lawmakers who refused.
“We look at Indiana as a test case and a cautionary tale, potentially one or the other, it’s their choice,” he added. “This is a super high priority, and we’re going to be working with the local, grassroots to make sure their voices heard and their priorities are not steamrolled by an out-of-touch elected class.”
Trump's push has triggered a redistricting war, with Democrats aiming to redraw the maps in California and Virginia. Texas, Florida, Missouri, and others have also moved toward a redraw or already done so.
