The Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF), a small business advocacy group, announced plans Wednesday to partner with the Dissident Project, an educational group, to teach high school-aged students about the "horrors of authoritarianism" in countries such as Cuba, Venezuela and North Korea.

The two groups will start by working together to film an interview-style video series about the true stories of young people born in authoritarian countries.

"The videos will display the horrors of authoritarianism and act as a warning for the U.S.," according to a press release from the JCNF.

Dissident Project founder Daniel Di Martino will become the Job Creators Network Foundation Freedom and Opportunity Fellow and work to educate the public about free market capitalism and how it has benefited the United States.

"I’m grateful for the partnership of the Job Creators Network and the Dissident Project. I look forward to bringing together the stories of immigrants who survived socialist regimes to every classroom in America and teach young Americans about the perils of socialism," Di Martino wrote.

"The slow creep of authoritarianism and socialism is one of the biggest dangers facing the U.S. today—and we need to fight back. That begins with educating our young people," JCNF CEO Alfredo Ortiz said. "JCN’s partnership with the Dissident Project will help elevate the voices of young immigrants who fled these systems of government oppression abroad. Promoting these stories to students across the country is the first step to building a firewall against an authoritarian government while also promoting the benefits of free markets."
