House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in an interview that aired on Fox News Sunday said that a deal "soon" will be reached to provide additional funding for small businesses during the coronavirus crisis.

The initial $349 billion in funding for small businesses has run out.

"The money has not all been distributed, although it has all been committed," Pelosi said to Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace. "And that's, that means there's no more money. They will have more money as soon as we come to agreement which will be soon."

On Friday, President Donald Trump urged the Speaker to take action.

"Nancy Pelosi, she's away on vacation or something, and she should come back," President Trump said at the White House on Friday. "She should come back and get this done. I don't know why she's not coming back. The fact is, she's not doing her job."
