An incoming Delta Air Lines flight to Boston Logan International Airport had to abort a landing Saturday to avoid colliding with an American Airlines plane departing from an intersecting runway, prompting an investigation from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Delta flight was coming from Dallas and had to execute a go-around, or aborted landing, to avoid the American plane, according to the Associated Press, which on Sunday announced the investigation.
