Trump rakes in more than $20 million in August, bolstered by indictment windfall

Seemingly capitalizing on his Georgia indictment, former President Donald Trump's campaign has brought in more than $20 million in August alone.
Since the release of his mugshot last Thursday, the campaign has brought in more than $9.4 million, Fox News reported. That figure includes $7.1 million the campaign brought in by Sunday.
Much of the fundraising haul appears to have come from merchandise sales, with the campaign releasing an array of products featuring the scowling visage of the former president.

Trump voluntarily surrendered himself at the facility after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis indicted him and 18 others in her probe of the former president's efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results in the Peach State.
