MAGA influencer Nick Adams on Thursday became President Donald Trump's choice to serve as ambassador to Malaysia.

Trump made the announcement via a list of nominations for Senate confirmation. Adams is prominent on X, boasting more than 600,000 followers.

"Mr. President, thank you for the honor of a lifetime. In your America, all dreams come true. It will be my honor to represent the United States of America in Malaysia," he posted on X.
"
To the esteemed Members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I look forward to a confirmation process that is at the heart of the Constitution that has given me the freedom to pursue the American Dream.

Thank you again to our Greatest President Ever!

God Bless the United States of America!"

Responses to his own post were full of humorous quips involving Ian Miles Cheong, a prominent right-wing influencer from Malaysia who comments on American politics, with some suggesting he arrest the X gadfly and others expressing bemusement that Cheong had not already filled the post.
