President Donald Trump on Friday morning vowed to work with states seeking to expand "Super Intelligence" (SI) infrastructure after a multitude of them imposed data center restrictions in the Tuesday midterms.

SI is Trump's chosen name for artificial intelligence (AI). He has, in recent months, aggressively pushed the name change for the technology, insisting that it is more accurate.

"As President, I am 100% in favor of Super Intelligence (SI), and will work with the many States in the U.S. that want to become RICH by having them. They are GOLD, and only foolish leadership will say 'NO' to the riches they bring!" he posted on Truth Social.

Data centers faced a national backlash on Tuesday evening as dozens of states and municipalities imposed bans or moratoria on further construction.

The facilities are a key part of technology infrastructure, but have faced pushback from locals over concerns about noise, the environment, and the potential to increase energy costs.
