CNN is canceling Brian Stelter's 'Reliable Source' show, and the host is leaving the cable news network.

Stelter told NPR about the changes, saying he's grateful for the show and his team's examination of "the media, truth and the stories that shape our world."

Stelter's show airs on Sunday and faced criticism by some for having a too-liberal bias.

"It was a rare privilege to lead a weekly show focused on the press at a time when it has never been more consequential," Stelter also told NPR.
