Actor Adam Sandler is being honored with the Mark Twain prize for American humor. The comedian and filmmaker will receive the award on March 19th at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. The prize is given to those who have impacted American culture in the vein of 19th-century novelist Samuel Clemens, more widely known by his pen name, Mark Twain.
