AI robots say they could be better world leaders than humans at UN conference

Nine AI-enabled humanoid robots at the United Nations’ International Telecommunication Union (ITU) used their first news conference in Geneva Friday to explain how their new technology could help lead the world. An AI robot named Sophia, the first robot innovation ambassador for the U.N. Development Program, said that humanoid robots could potentially lead the world with “a greater level of efficiency and effectiveness than human leaders.”
