Beijing to require negative Covid-19 test results to use public venues and public transportation
The Chinese capital of Beijing will further tighten its Covid-19 containment measures from Thursday, as the city fights a worsening outbreak. From Thursday, negative PCR test results taken within 48 hours will be required to enter public venues – including shopping malls, supermarkets, office buildings, government premises, hotels – as well as to use public transportation, Xu Hejian, the Beijing municipal government spokesperson announced Tuesday in a regular press briefing.
