Bolsonaro supporters continue protests after election defeat outside Brazilian Army headquarters
Jair Bolsonaro supporters gathered to protest outside the Central Command of Brazilian Army headquarters in Sao Paulo on Wednesday to protest the outcome of the country’s recent presidential election. The rallies in front of military headquarters come as Bolsonaro supporters across the country have been blocking roads and highways since Sunday’s election, which resulted in a narrow win for Bolsonaro’s opponent, Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva. A Brazilian Supreme Court judge ordered military police to intervene in clearing roads, and the Governor of Sao Paulo said police should use force to do so, if necessary.
