Chinese President Xi expresses gratitude to Kim Jong Un in private letter

President of China Xi Jinping pledged his alliance to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in a personally signed letter given to him when a Chinese delegation visited Pyongyang this week, Xinhua News Agency reported Friday. "No matter how the international situation changes, maintaining, consolidating and developing China-North Korea relations have always been the unswerving policy of the Chinese party and government,” Xi said in the letter.
