Death toll rises to 58 amid ethnic violence clashings in India
The number of people killed during clashes in India’s Manipur state this month has risen to 58, according to area hospitals on Monday. The Indian army claims to have quieted much of the violence in the northeastern state, where members of the Kuki and Meitei ethnic groups have clashed since May 2nd.
