Dr. Risch says bird flu poses no real risk to general public
Dr. Harvey Risch, Professor Emeritus of Epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health, says the general population does not need to be concerned about contracting the avian flu. “This is not an illness that is transmitted from human to human. The likelihood of it mutating to do that is exceedingly low,” says Dr. Risch.
