Firefighting aircraft battle wildfire in Montana's Jefferson County

Firefighting aircraft were battling a wildfire on Doherty Mountain in Cardwell, Montana, on August 1st. Footage posted by the Jefferson County Montana Sheriff’s Office shows two aircraft, one of which is dropping retardant on the fire. The Doherty Mountain Fire was mapped at 110 acres at 7:30 pm on August 1st, according to a post from Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest.
