Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani says Jan. 6 Committee is 'irresponsible'
As Rudy Giuliani was walking up the court steps to attend his personal divorce hearing Monday morning, the press asked Giuliani if he has been contacted by the Department of Justice regarding Jan. 6th. In response, Giuliani stated: “Well they couldn’t, I’ve already been dismissed from that case. You know that? Well so, Congressman Thompson sued me about a year ago and Judge Mehta dismissed me from the case in an opinion in which he said I had nothing to do with January 6th. I should emphasize that Judge Mehta is an Obama appointee, who analyzed all the records and said that it’s not plausible that I was involved in January 6th. So, that committee has done many irresponsible things, but I seriously doubt they’re going to go after me again for something that a judge has found I had nothing to do with. But, would I put it past those liars? Absolutely not.”
