Going Into the Fall Elections, What Protections Do We Have?

U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI), who chairs the House Administration Committee, says he warns people that noncitizens participate in our elections. The House passed the SAVE Act, which requires individuals to prove their citizenship prior to being able to vote. "The Senate refuses to act, burying their heads, refusing to bring up the SAVE Act or press forward any good quality election integrity measures that we have moved in the House," Steil said.
