Hitler’s childhood home to be converted into human rights training center for Austrian police

Austria’s Interior Ministry announced Wednesday that the house where Adolf Hitler was born will be converted into a human rights training center for police officers. The Austrian government originally planned to have the home demolished in 2016, but opted instead to give the building a new “life-affirming” perspective. The renovation will cost an estimated $21.5 million and is set to be completed in 2025.
