House Oversight Chair Rep. Comer moves to hold FBI Director Chris Wray in contempt

Representative James Comer (R-KY), chair of the House Oversight Committee, said in a statement Tuesday that he plans to hold FBI Director Chris Wray in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with the Committee’s subpoena. Rep. Comer said the law agency denied the Committee access to a bureau document that detailed an alleged bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.
