January 6 committee to hold what it expects to be its last hearing on September 28th

The congressional select committee investigating the January 6th Capitol attack is set for a new hearing next week, according to the House Committee's Chair, Bennie Thompson. Thompson says: "This will likely be the last hearing before their report is released and it will take place on September 28th, 1pm eastern."
