Jerry Dunleavy stresses importance of investigating intel failures behind Afghanistan withdrawal

Former House Foreign Affairs Senior Investigator Jerry Dunleavy says Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) and senior staff were not interested in teaming up with the House Intelligence Committee in order to obtain access to intelligence assessments of the Afghanistan withdrawal. “Part of why I’m so concerned is that intelligence failures like this don’t just happen once. This is the sort of thing this is going to affect us in the future,” he warns.
