Kremlin calls ICC arrest warrant for Putin “outrageous and unacceptable”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the arrest warrant issued for Vladimir Putin by the International Criminal Court “outrageous and unacceptable” in a tweet on Friday. “Russia, like a number of states, does not recognize the jurisdiction of this court and, accordingly, any decisions of this kind are null and void for the Russian Federation from the point of view of law,” said Peskov.
