More than 100 migrants rescued off Lampedusa

At least 124 migrants, including children, were rescued by the Italian Coast Guard off Lampedusa on Wednesday, March 8, according to local media.

New footage from the Italian coast guard shows a migrant hanging onto a buoy while being dragged toward a rescue boat. However, no injuries or missing persons were reported.
