New York passes law permitting simulation lab training for nursing students
New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a law Monday that permits nursing students to complete up to one-third of clinical training through simulation labs. A press statement from Gov. Hochul’s office says the new legislation will expedite training and make education more accessible as New York faces a severe nursing shortage.
