NPR CEO calls ‘state-affiliated media’ label on Twitter “unacceptable”
National Public Radio CEO John Lansing criticized Twitter for adding a “U.S. state-affiliated media” tag to NPR’s main account Tuesday night. Lansing called the action “unacceptable” and a violation of Twitter’s own policies. Twitter has also designated the same label to propaganda media accounts from Russia and China.
