Office of Japanese PM issues warning: North Korea fires another suspected ballistic missile

The Office of the Prime Minister of Japan issued a statement warning on Monday as tensions continue to rise amid the Korean peninsula. According to Japanese authorities and South Korea's Yonhap News Agency, another ballistic missile was fired from North Korea's east coast on Monday. This is the latest in a series of launches over the past week, South Korean officials also confirmed a missile out of Pyongyang was launched toward the Sea of Japan last Wednesday. In response to these North Korean acts of aggression, United States and South Korean armed forces have ramped up joint military exercises between Seoul and Washington, utilizing strategic U.S. assets including staging advanced stealth jets.
